History
VNA winery, located in Torrazza Coste in the Oltrepò Pavese region, was founded in 1982 by Uberto Fiori. In 2015, his sons Alessandro and Federico took over the operations, embracing sustainable agricultural practices and focusing on enhancing both indigenous and international grape varieties. Numero 1 represents the company’s commitment to producing quality wines that reflect the territory and its traditions.

- 100% Cortese
Production method
- Harvest: Manual harvesting around the second week of September.
- Vinification: Maceration on the skins for a few hours, followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel.
- Aging: Ten months in stainless steel, without filtration; clarification through natural cold settling in the cellar.
Alcohol content
- 13.5% vol.
Tasting notes
- Color: Lemon yellow with golden highlights.
- Aroma: Fine and composed nose, recalling honey and yellow peach, wisteria, oat, hay, and roasted hazelnut, with balsamic undertones and an almond finish.
- Taste: On the palate, it is balanced, with pleasant freshness and good persistence, reflecting the aromatic notes perceived on the nose.
Possible pairings
Pairs perfectly with fish dishes, poached eggs, first courses with vegetable-based sauces, or simply as an aperitif.
