Description
History
Azienda Agricola Castellaccio, located in Lucolena within the municipality of Greve in Chianti, is an organic estate dedicated to producing wines that respect the environment and local traditions. The Chianti Classico Coste di Felice represents one of the most authentic expressions of their commitment to sustainable viticulture.
Grapes used
- Sangiovese: the main grape variety of Chianti Classico, known for its lively acidity and balanced tannins.
Production method
The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified according to traditional methods. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by aging in oak barrels, which imparts complexity and structure to the wine.

Tasting notes
- Color: Deep ruby red with garnet reflections.
- Aroma: Aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, accompanied by floral notes of violet and spicy hints of vanilla and black pepper.
- Palate: Well-balanced on the palate, with soft tannins and pleasant freshness. The finish is long, with aftertaste of dried fruits and sweet spices.
Food pairings
This Chianti Classico pairs perfectly with traditional Tuscan dishes, such as pappardelle with wild boar, bistecca alla fiorentina, and aged cheeses. Also excellent with cured meats and meat-based appetizers.
