History
Cigliano di Sopra is a historic estate located in the heart of Chianti Classico. With a long winemaking tradition, the winery is renowned for producing wines that faithfully reflect the territory and its unique characteristics.

Production method
The grapes come from 11 different plots located 360 degrees around the Cigliano hill, on predominantly sandy and gravelly soils. Spontaneous fermentation occurs separately for each plot, followed by aging in used wooden barrels. The wine is bottled without clarification and filtration, with the addition of a minimal amount of sulfites.
