Description
History
Founded in 1954, Maison Vazart-Coquart is located in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. For three generations, the Vazart-Coquart family has been dedicated to producing elegant and rich Champagnes, respecting traditions and the environment. Since 1996, the company has been part of the “Club Trésors de Champagne,” an association of independent winegrowers promoting excellence in Champagne production.

- 100% Chardonnay
Production method
The grapes come from vineyards with an average age of 45 years, located in the Grand Cru of Chouilly. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging on the lees for at least 72 months, imparting complexity and aromatic depth to the wine. The dosage is Extra Brut, with 1 g/l of sugar, enhancing the purity and freshness of the Chardonnay.

Tasting notes
Visually, it displays a bright straw-yellow color with fine and persistent bubbles. The nose reveals intense citrus sensations of cedar zest and lemon leaf, followed by notes of pear, chalk, and white flowers, with hints of honey. On the palate, it is creamy and velvety, with a mineral freshness that provides clarity and intensity, culminating in a savory and persistent finish.
Possible pairings
Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with raw seafood, sushi, and delicate fish dishes. Also ideal with fresh cheeses and light appetizers.
