Description
History
Castello di Tricerchi is a large estate with about 400 hectares on the northern hills of Montalcino, of which 13 hectares are dedicated to Sangiovese Grosso for Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino. The castle itself dates to 1441, symbolising a heritage of winemaking in Tuscany combined with modern ambition. The 2020 vintage reflects the site’s quality—mature grapes, well-defined tannins, bright acidity and excellent drinkability.

Tasting notes
Intense ruby red colour. Aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry, plum, dark chocolate and tobacco, sweet spices and a mineral edge from the terroir. On the palate: structured, with present yet refined tannins, well-balanced acidity that gives drive and a long, harmonious finish.
Food pairings
Excellent with premium dishes: braised meats, roasted red meats, light game, mushroom or truffle-based dishes, and very aged cheeses. Also superb for contemplative single-glass enjoyment.
