Description
History
The “Ama” cuvée was born in 2010 as part of Castello di Ama’s vineyard renewal project: younger, more productive vines were separated from historic parcels, making “Ama” the expression of freshness and vitality of young Sangiovese, while higher‑prestige lines are reserved for the Gran Selezione wines. The 2022 vintage confirms the estate’s philosophy: sustainable viticulture (Equalitas certification), hand harvest, use of indigenous yeasts, and careful winemaking to highlight the terroir of the hills between Gaiole and Radda in Chianti.
