Description
History
Founded in 1960 in the heart of Sulcis, Cantina Santadi is one of Sardinia’s most respected wine cooperatives. Deeply committed to local grapes, Santadi has made Carignano its signature variety. The grapes for Grotta Rossa come from vineyards planted on sandy and clay soils, near the sea and constantly refreshed by coastal breezes. The name “Grotta Rossa” pays homage to a local rock formation, symbolizing the deep bond between the wine, the land, and Sardinian history.
