Description
History
The Campo al Pero Agricultural Company is located in the heart of Bolgheri, one of Tuscany’s most prestigious wine regions. Founded with the aim of producing wines that faithfully reflect the local terroir, the company spans 6 hectares of vineyards situated at 400 meters above sea level, characterized by calcareous soils that impart notable minerality to the wines. Campo al Pero’s philosophy is based on respecting nature and enhancing native varieties, combining traditional cultivation methods with modern winemaking techniques to create high-quality wines that express the authenticity of the Bolgheri territory.

Production method
The grapes are hand-harvested between early and mid-September, with careful selection in the vineyard to ensure maximum quality. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures for about two weeks. The wine then matures for 12 months in various wood formats: barriques, tonneaux, and large Italian oak casks. Finally, it further refines in the bottle for 4 months before release.
