History
From the “Cerretalto” amphitheater in NE Montalcino, this wine—established in 1981—was crafted in the exceptional 2015 vintage. Hand-picked in October, fermented spontaneously in open vats for 32 days, aged 36 months in barriques, and matured 24 months in bottle.

Tasting notes
Deep ruby. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, liquorice, graphite, tobacco, sage, cinnamon, and balsamic nuances . On the palate, full-bodied and powerful, with velvety tannins, vibrant acidity, crushed‑stone minerality, and a long, juicy, savory finish .

Excellent with roasted or stewed red meats, game, Florentine steak, truffle dishes, and aged cheeses.
