Description
History
The Carlone winery is a benchmark in the small yet prestigious Boca DOC, one of Piedmont’s oldest wine regions. The estate is known for its artisanal and terroir-focused approach, using traditional methods to produce authentic and long-lived wines.

- Vespolina (15%)
Production method
- Harvest: Handpicked, with rigorous grape selection.
- Vinification: Traditional fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Long maceration to extract tannins and complex aromas.
- Aging: Aged in large oak barrels for at least 24 months, followed by bottle aging to ensure balance and structure.

13.5% vol.
Tasting notes
- Color: Bright garnet red.
- Aroma: Complex notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, forest floor, and mineral undertones.
- Taste: Elegant and structured, with fine tannins and fresh acidity balancing a full-bodied palate. The finish is long and mineral, with earthy and spicy nuances.
Possible pairings
Perfect with roasts, braised meats, game, and aged cheeses. Also excellent with traditional Piedmontese dishes like bagna cauda and tajarin with meat ragù.
