Description
History
Nicola Gatta is no ordinary producer. He works in Gussago, at the eastern edge of the Franciacorta region, on marl-rich hills that impart both structure and tension to the wines. His approach is radical yet respectful: he cultivates 6 hectares between 400 and 650 meters above sea level using biodynamic methods, avoiding herbicides and synthetic products altogether. He distances himself from the Franciacorta label, letting the wine speak for itself instead. On the label, you’ll simply find “Metodo Classico”. Aged on lees for 70 lunar cycles—about 70 months—this Blanc de Noirs is the result of a bold and deeply personal vision.
