Description
History
Armagnac is France’s oldest distilled spirit, produced in the Gascony region. Rounagle is synonymous with authenticity and craftsmanship, with a production process that honors centuries-old traditions. The VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) offers a balance of freshness and maturity, enriched by its aging process.
Production method
- Raw material: White wines made from local grapes such as Ugni Blanc, Colombard, and Folle Blanche.
- Distillation: Continuous distillation in a traditional column still unique to Armagnac.
- Aging: Aged for at least 4 years in French oak barrels, imparting complexity and smoothness to the spirit.

40% vol.
Tasting notes
- Color: Deep amber with golden highlights.
- Aroma: Rich and enveloping, with notes of dried fruits, plum, vanilla, and a subtle hint of toasted wood.
- Taste: Smooth and balanced, with flavors of caramel, sweet spices, and a touch of licorice. Long and velvety finish.
Possible pairings
Best enjoyed neat in a balloon glass. Pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, almond- or walnut-based desserts, and premium cigars.
Serving temperature
Serve at room temperature, between 18-20°C.
