History
The Allegrini family is an important family in the world of wine in the Valpolicella area; documents attest to the presence of the latter in the area as far back as the sixteenth century. One of the prominent figures of the family was Giovanni Allegrini, who began working in the company at a very young age and greatly perfected the art of winemaking. Today the company is expertly led by their children Franco Allegrini and Marilisa Allegrini and their respective children, who follow the path already traced by Giovanni.

Production method
Amarone is usually produced from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes which are dried for 3-4 months before fermentation. The wine then matures in wooden barrels for at least two years, giving life to a full-bodied, concentrated wine with fruity and spicy notes.
