Tasting notes
In the glass, the wine displays an intense garnet red color. The nose reveals an elegant bouquet with notes of wild berries, dried rose petals, and a hint of alpine herbs. On the palate, it is linear and savory, with taut, chalky tannins accompanying flavors of wild strawberry, blood orange, star anise, and crushed mint, while fresh acidity maintains balance.
Possible pairings
It pairs perfectly with braised red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses. Its elegance also allows it to complement an entire meal, enhancing traditional Piedmontese dishes.
