Marie-Noëlle Ledru is (now almost was) one of the first producers of RM champagne and so-called vignerons.
In 1980 Marie-Noëlle took over the management of 6 hectares of vineyards in Ambonnay and Bouzy managed by her father at a family level since the 1960s, personally following with the help of a couple of farmers not only the vineyard but also the production, so much so that deserve the title of lady of pinot noir. In reality it is known in the Champenoise world that for some time (after the threshold of 70 years) Madame Ledru has leased part of her vineyards, halving production to devote herself only to two hectares of now forty-year-old vines, governed according to a reasoned viticulture made of copper, sulfur and manure treatments.
