David Leclapart has a total of 3 hectares in 22 different plots, which are divided into the municipality of Trepail, Premier Cru of the Montagne de Reims. Upon his father’s death, David returned to the company only on one condition: to conduct all the agriculture of the company to biodynamics, without compromise – for him the only way to respect and highlight the natural characteristics of the champagne and the terroir. The choice of never dosing any champagne is also difficult, an aspect that highlights the slightest stylistic imperfection. It is one of those that in recent years has suffered the most from problems related to climatic trends, in fact Artiste and other products will no longer be released until 2024.
