History
Pojer e Sandri was founded in 1975 by Mario Pojer and Fiorentino Sandri and has become one of Trentino’s most innovative wineries. Located in Faedo, overlooking the Adige Valley, the estate has built its reputation on technical innovation and meticulous vineyard management. Vin dei Molini is one of the winery’s classic labels and reflects its commitment to producing elegant, food-friendly rosé wines.
Grape variety
50% Lagrein, 50% Pinot Noir.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a short skin maceration to obtain the wine’s characteristic light ruby-coral colour. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing on the fine lees to preserve freshness, aromatic precision and lively acidity.
Alcohol content
12.5%.
Tasting notes
Light ruby with coral highlights. The bouquet is delicate and elegant, offering floral notes of elderflower, blackcurrant and subtle aromatic hints reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is dry, fresh and saline, with lively acidity and a pleasantly crisp finish that makes it exceptionally refreshing.
Food pairings
Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with seafood starters, oysters, shellfish, seafood pasta and risotto, as well as roasted white meats and delicate sauces.
