Description
History
The Franco cellars were founded in Valdobbiadene in 1919 thanks to Antonio Franco, with the aim of creating a high quality sparkling wine. His son Nino will expand the company almost to today’s volumes but it will be Nino’s son, Primo, who will set up the company structure as that of a modern company. Graduated from the Conegliano Veneto school of oenology, Primo will focus on production control from the earliest stages. He has always been supported by his wife Annalisa and daughter Silvia who today takes care with him of making decisions regarding production, strategies and commercial decisions.

Tasting notes
Brilliant straw yellow colour, accompanied by a thin but persistent foam. The aroma is soft and seductive, with delicate floral scents, hints of citrus, white fruit and apricot. The palate is silky, generous and broad, with a perfect balance between the juicy softness of ripe fruit and freshness. The tasting ends with pleasant savory notes.
Possible combinations
Excellent for a toast in the company of special people or for an aperitif, especially on a warm summer or spring evening. Very good with fresh and creamy cheeses, cured meats or delicate first courses; also ideal with delicate fish dishes or fish crudités.
