Description
History
Destiny had written the meeting between Diamante and Antoine in the hot summer of 1976, when he was on vacation from Belgium and she from America. Their love was born suddenly, overwhelming and united by a deep common passion: wine. This passion led them to found the Villa Diamante farm in 1996. From that first meeting, they never separated again, until life itself, with its cruel unpredictability, suddenly deprived us of an exemplary father, a affectionate husband and a fundamental pillar for our company and the enology of the Irpinia region. Her daughter decided to study oenology, to get her hands and boots dirty and to immerse herself in the vineyards to carry on, with the precious support of her mother Diamante, her father’s dream.

Production method
The must undergoes a clarification process by decanting. To start the fermentation, selected yeasts are added, which work diligently in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers. An essential winemaking process involves an 11-month refinement on the lees in stainless steel containers. After bottling, the wine continues to refine for a further 8 months before being marketed.
