Monteraponi is a medieval village located in the Radda in Chianti region at an altitude of 470 metres. The company covers an area of about 200 hectares, of which 12 are dedicated to the cultivation of vines and 8 to the cultivation of olive trees in a natural amphitheater facing south. In the cellar, few technologies are used: the fermentation takes place in cement containers using native yeasts and the maturation takes place in large oval barrels. All products are certified organic.
Spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in vitrified concrete, without the addition of yeasts or additives, with maceration for 30-35 days, without clarification or filtration. The aging lasts 36 months in large barrels, 3 months in vitrified concrete.
Brilliant ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose aromas of ripe fruit with spices and earthy notes. Great elegance also expressed on the palate, with graceful and fine tannins.
It goes perfectly with roasted or grilled meat, game and aged cheeses.
